Culverts
Culverts are installed throughout New Zealand on an on going basis and provide a fast and effective construction methodology for under road channels or pathways for water, traffic and stock. Their inherently strong shape and construction allows them to manage various types of loading effectively whilst causing minimal disruption due to their fast installation.
Culverts typically are available in 500mm size increments and are generally only limited in size by the ability to transport or handle them. Typical sizes range from spans of 1.5m to 4.0m with heights of 1.5m x 4.0m. All standard Culverts are 1550mm long and can have flush or rebated joints.
